Profile Detail View
Click a profile name in the browse list to see every permission assigned to it. Permissions are organized by type, and you can search, filter, or jump straight into a migration from here.
Permission Sections
Permissions are grouped into collapsible accordion sections by type:
- Object Permissions -- Each object with its CRUD flags (Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, Modify All). Enabled flags get a visual indicator.
- Field Permissions -- Every field across all objects, showing Read and Edit access.
- System/User Permissions -- System-level permissions like "Manage Users," "View Setup," "API Enabled," etc.
- Tab Settings -- Tab visibility (Default On, Default Off, Hidden).
- Apex Class Access -- Apex classes the profile can execute.
- Visualforce Page Access -- Visualforce pages the profile can view.
- Custom Permissions -- Enabled custom permission flags.
- Record Type Visibilities -- Visible record types per object.
- Flow Access -- Flows the profile can run.
- Custom Metadata Type Access -- Custom metadata type access.
- Custom Setting Access -- Custom setting access.
- External Data Source Access -- External data source access.
Each section header has a count badge so you can gauge the volume of permissions without expanding anything.
Filtering Permissions
Two filters sit at the top of the detail view:
- Show Enabled Only toggle -- Off by default, meaning you see all permissions including disabled ones. Turn it on to show only what's actually granted. Useful when you want to know exactly what users with this profile can do.
- Search bar -- Type a keyword to filter across all sections at once. Good for finding a specific object, field, or permission name without manually expanding each section.
Action Buttons
Three action buttons appear at the top:

| Compare | Opens the side-by-side comparison view so you can compare this profile against a permission set |
| Export CSV | Downloads a CSV file containing all permissions for this profile |
| Migrate | Opens the migration wizard with this profile pre-selected in Step 1 |
The Migrate button saves you from switching to the Migrate tab and re-selecting the profile -- you can kick off a migration right from here.
